How We Work

What to expect

Assess and Explore

Our engagement begins with meetings with your stakeholders: Financial and IT Operations leadership, as well as decision-makers responsible for business outcomes, typically Sales or Product leaders. Our aim is to learn the scale and scope of the project, technical complexities, as well as your preferences for cost, project duration, and tolerance to potential disruptions.

In certain cases, we may request meetings with your non-leadership staff to gain a better understanding of the complexities, such as dependencies on specific versions of third-party services.

The outcome of this stage is an estimated timeline and budget for the transition, as well as an outline of the associated risks.

Plan

At this stage we develop specific transition steps, such as:

  • Decide on the location of the data center(s), amount of the floor space & power needed.
  • Calculate the number of hardware units needed and their specifications.
  • Identify needed software components.
  • Identify potential vendors.
  • Define approach to operational personnel: in-house or outsourced.
  • … and much more

The outcome of this stage is a detailed step-by-step transition plan, a solid timeline, a firm budget estimate, and a risk management plan.

Execute

This is the stage where the plan is put into action. It involves executing contracts with vendors, delivering and installing hardware, hiring and training personnel, moving services from the cloud to data center(s), etc.

Pricing

We believe in keeping our promises and, as a result, we expect to earn money only when our clients save money:

  • We charge relatively low consulting fees for the work we perform.
  • We charge 25% of the savings of the first 12 months after the transition.

This aligns our interests with the interests of our clients, as we both want to achieve the goal of maximum cost savings without compromising quality, and to ensure a reasonably fast transition.
